After decades spent building businesses, leading revenue strategy and advising founders, Tina Ruark-Baker is creating something she believes business owners need just as much as another growth strategy: a trusted room where they do not have to figure everything out alone.
That room is RevLab, a free virtual revenue growth community for founders, coaches, consultants and business owners who want candid conversations about the decisions and challenges affecting their businesses.
What makes RevLab different is not only the people in the room, but the experience guiding the conversation.
Ruark-Baker started her first business at 18, went on to build and sell two companies, and then spent more than two decades in corporate New York before rising to Chief Revenue Officer.Today, through TRB Creative, she works as a Fractional Revenue Growth Advisor, LinkedIn Strategist, Keynote Speaker and Fractional CRO/CMO.
Her experience across entrepreneurship, marketing, positioning and revenue strategy allows her to look at business challenges from multiple angles. RevLab members are entering a conversation facilitated by someone who has spent decades building businesses and advising owners on growth.
How RevLab Started
The idea began with a Zoom happy hour.
There was no agenda and no sales presentation, just a group of Ruark-Baker’s past clients invited to reconnect and talk about business. Then something caught her attention. Nobody wanted to leave.
The conversation moved beyond the polished answers business owners are often expected to give. People began talking openly about what was not working and the growth challenges they had been trying to solve on their own.
Over the following year, Ruark-Baker recognized the same theme among the founders, coaches and consultants she worked with. These were experienced business owners who understood their industries, yet many were still trying to solve complicated growth problems without a trusted group of peers to challenge their thinking.
That became the foundation for RevLab and its central belief: business owners should not have to build alone.
The Revenue Experience Behind RevLab
During her years in corporate leadership, Ruark-Baker sat at the revenue table while sales, marketing and operations often approached the same number from different perspectives. It taught her that a revenue problem is not always a lead generation problem.
Sometimes the real issue is positioning. Sometimes it is pricing. Sometimes it is follow through.Sometimes a business is attracting attention but failing to convert it.
In 2020, Ruark-Baker launched TRB Creative, bringing senior level revenue strategy to business owners who may not need a full time Chief Revenue Officer.
That perspective also led her to create the Targeted Revenue BlueprintTM, her framework for helping businesses create a repeatable path from visibility to signed contract.
Through workshops, advisory sessions and client conversations, she kept arriving at another conclusion. For many experienced business owners, information is not the missing piece. They often know what they could do. What they need is a trusted place to talk through what they should do next.
RevLab became her answer.
A Business Community Built Without the Pitch

Ruark-Baker is intentional about what RevLab is and what it is not.
It is not another traditional networking group centered on exchanging pitches, and it is not a course where business owners log in simply to consume more information.
Two rules sit at the center of the community.
The first is no selling. Members are there to challenge assumptions, share experiences and work through real business problems with people who understand what it takes to grow a company.
The second is confidentiality. The challenges, numbers and concerns discussed inside RevLab stay within the room.
One participant had spent years discounting her services to attract clients she did not want. During a RevLab conversation, another business owner challenged her to reconsider her pricing. She ultimately restructured her pricing, shifted her client base and reported a 40 percent increase in monthly revenue.
Another business owner had reached a revenue ceiling in his coaching company. A conversation about referral partnerships led to a connection with a fractional CFO serving a complementary audience. Within 90 days, the two had referred multiple clients to one another without additional advertising spend.
Turning Revenue Growth Into a Conversation

RevLab meets virtually on the second Wednesday of each month for one hour.
Members discuss what is affecting their businesses in real time, including pricing, positioning, referrals, recurring revenue, sales, marketing, business development and using artificial intelligence more efficiently.
Other sessions feature a Revenue Spotlight, where a founder can bring a current opportunity, decision or growth challenge to the group.
Ruark-Baker facilitates the conversations much the way she advises her clients, asking diagnostic questions, challenging assumptions and looking beyond the obvious symptom to understand what may actually be affecting growth.
The goal is for members to leave with an idea, connection, decision or strategy they can put into motion. RevLab is currently free to attend.
The Bigger Vision for RevLab

What began as an informal Zoom conversation is now becoming the foundation for something larger.
Ruark-Baker envisions RevLab eventually expanding into specialized groups for coaches, fractional executives, agencies and professional service firms, along with AI education, referral networks, accountability groups, guest experts and a private member portal.
But regardless of how RevLab evolves, the premise remains the same.
Business owners do not necessarily need another download, course or strategy document. Sometimes the breakthrough comes from having the right room to walk into and finally saying out loud what you have been trying to solve alone.
For founders, coaches, consultants and business owners who want candid conversations about revenue and growth, access to experienced entrepreneurs and a room facilitated by someone with decades of business and revenue leadership experience, RevLab is creating that space.
RevLab is currently accepting members for upcoming virtual sessions. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month and are free to attend.
